Liverpool are keeping an eye on Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo, according to recent reports.
The 20-year-old has recently been linked to teams like Manchester United, Arsenal, West Ham, and Chelsea, but it seems that the Reds have also taken notice of his performances.
Caicedo would be an excellent addition to Jurgen Klopp’s squad, according to fans on Twitter, although some do not think that Liverpool would complete signing before the transfer window closes:
The Ecuadorian international is clearly a highly talented young player, but it should be noted that despite moving to the south coast more than 18 months ago, he has only made 12 appearances for Brighton.
Caicedo spent the first half of last season at Belgian club Beerschot before rising to prominence with the Seagulls in the closing months of the campaign. Despite he hasn’t played at the highest level, he could still cost a sizeable fee, which might discourage Liverpool from making an approach, especially given the number of other Premier League teams involved.
