    At Liverpool, Jurgen Klopp has put together one of the game’s most talented squad. The Reds have experienced great joy in recent years winning four major trophies in the last four seasons.

    The Merseyside team had to sign some of the best players in the world to accomplish that success. They also pay these players hefty fees in the form of wages. The Reds pay £127.73 million in wages annually.

    Without further ado, here is a list of Liverpool’s six highest-paid players as of now.

    #4 Fabinho, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Roberto Firmino – £180,000 per week

    At Anfield, along with Trent Alexander-Arnold and Roberto Firmin, Fabinho presently makes £180,000 a week, which now makes him the joint fourth-most paid player spot at Liverpool.

    Since joining the Reds from AS Monaco in 2018, the 28-year-old has established himself as one of the Premier League’s most talented midfielders. He has so far appeared in 115 Premier League games for the Anfield outfit, scoring eight goals and dishing out six assists.

    Also key members of Jurgen Klopp’s team, Alexander-Arnold and Firmino have contributed to their success in winning the UEFA Champions League and Premier League titles.

    Alexander-Arnold, a Reds academy graduate, has served as one of the most important creative outlets for his side. In the meantime, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane enjoyed a prolific partnership with Firmino, who had joined from Hoffenheim in 2015.

    #3 Thiago Alcantara – £200,000 per-week

    At Anfield, Thiago is presently paid £200,000 a week, making him the third most paid player in the team.

    The Brazilian international moved from Bayern Munich to Liverpool during the summer 2020 transfer window. He played a key role for the Reds last season, scoring one goal and four assists in 25 EPL appearances. Thiago was part of the Premier League Team of the Season for 2021–2022.

    #2 Virgil van Dijk

    Virgil van Dijk has distinguished himself as one of Europe’s most gifted defenders. He moved from Southampton to Liverpool in January 2018 for a then-record sum of £75 million.

    He has so far played 129 league games with the Reds, scoring 13 goals.

    Van Dijk has contributed to the Reds’ success in many competitions, including the Premier League and the Champions League. They have also won the UEFA Super Cup, FIFA Club World Cup, Carabao Cup, and FA Cup with the Dutch defender.

    The 31-year-old was named the PFA Player of the Season for the 2018–19 campaign. He was also included in the “PFA Team of the Season on three different occasions.

    #1 Mohamed Salah

    Mohamed Salah just agreed to a new three-year deal which places him on a weekly salary of £350,000. The former AS Roma forward is now the highest-paid African player in the world.

    Since joining the Reds from AS Roma in 2017, the Egyptian international has cemented his place among the game’s most brilliant players. He has so far scored 118 goals in 180 Premier League games for the Reds. Salah earned the Premier League’s Golden Boot on three separate occasions and was named the “PFA Player of the Season” for the 2017–18 campaign.
