Manchester United have confirmed the squad they will take for the pre-season tour to the Far East where they will take on Liverpool.

At the Rajamangala Stadium in Thailand on Tuesday, the Reds take on their Old Trafford rivals. It will be Liverpool’s first pre-season game of the summer and Jurgen Klopp’s first opportunity to evaluate his team.

For the friendly against both Man United and Crystal Palace, the latter of which is being held in Singapore, three new arrivals will be hoping to be included in Klopp’s squad. Calvin Ramsay, Darwin Nunez, and Fabio Carvalho will all be looking to make a good first impression.

A 31-man squad for Man United has officially been announced for the match against Liverpool. New manager Erik ten Hag has included a mix of first-team and academy players.

The absence of Cristiano Ronaldo from the traveling squad is particularly noticeable. According to the club, he was given extra time off to attend to a family issue. However, reports from the previous week claim that the Portugal international has requested a transfer out of Old Trafford.

A notable mention in the Man United squad is defender Tyrell Malacia. The full-back recently signed for Man United from Feyenoord, in a £12.9m deal.

Paul Pogba, Nemanja Matic, Jesse Lingard, Juan Mata, and Edinson Cavani are the other players that are not involved due to being released by Man United in the summer.
