This summer, Liverpool has been linked with a number of midfielders, and Luka Sucic is the most recent name to have surfaced.
The Anfield club needs to strengthen their midfield due to injuries of key players, and reports suggest that they are now interested in signing the young Croatian international from RB Salzburg.
The Reds are reportedly looking to sign Sucic in order to reinforce their midfield department, according to Salzburger Nachrichten (news image below).
Jurgen Klopp was not disappointed with the 19-year-old’s performance in the 1-0 victory over Liverpool last month as he was highly impressive.
According to the news source, Sucic will eventually be the next big talent to leave the Austrian team for a big club in Europe. Like Sesko, he will likely leave at the end of the current campaign.
The teenage Croatian is reportedly on Klopp’s radar at Anfield since the center of the park needs to be freshened up with many experienced and key Liverpool players approaching their 30s.
Sucic, who can play both the CM and CAM positions very well, scored 11 goals and provided 5 assists for Salzburg last season across all competitions.
Apart from the Merseysiders, the likes of AC Milan and Juventus are also interested in luring the midfielder, who has already made 3 appearances for the senior national side.
Newcastle has also been linked with the versatile starlet, whose current contract expires in 2025 and whose value (according to Football Transfers) is around 20 million euros (£17 million).
What do you think? Should Liverpool make a £17 million bid to sign Luka Sucic?
