Liverpool will be looking to record their first win of the Premier League campaign when they come up against Crystal Palace on Monday.
The Reds will be desperate to make up for their opening-day blunder with three points at Anfield after being held to a frustrating 2-2 draw by an outstanding Fulham side.
However, there is still plenty of transfer speculations around the club and here’s the round up.
Tielemans “would be interested”
Leicester City midfielder, Youri Tielemans “would be interested” in a transfer to Liverpool this summer, according to Kevin Campbell.
The Belgian’s contract at the King Power Stadium is coming to an end, which has sparked widespread speculations about a possible exit.
The 25-year-old might perhaps be persuaded to move to Anfield under the right circumstances.
Speaking to Football Insider, he said:“He has craft in his game.
“It is one of them, he is there with a year left on his contract. If the opportunity came about, could it happen?
“I’m sure Tielemans would be interested in a move to Liverpool.
“When you look at Thiago, his game and what he brings to Liverpool, Tielemans could go someway to replacing that. Thiago brings craft to that Liverpool midfield. Tielemans brings that as well.
“He could also add goals to that side. He would give Liverpool another dimension, if was he to go to Anfield.”
Liverpool linked with Brozovic
Fichajes claims that Liverpool have been “closely following” Inter Milan midfielder, Marcelo Brozovic’s situation for some time and may present an offer “soon.”
The Croatian international only recently renewed his contract in Italy, but it is understood that the Reds are unfazed by this development and view the 29-year-old as a potential replacement for the injured Thiago Alcántara.
Fichajes even went so far as to suggest that Jurgen Klopp’s side could make a move to sign Brozovic before the transfer window closes, although they might have to contend with the likes of Manchester United and PSG.
Pino could be Arsenal-bound
Liverpool-linked Villarreal winger, Yeremy Pino, may be headed to Arsenal after reports surfaced that the Spanish club may accept a deal from the Gunners.
According to 90min, Unai Emery’s team has received a bid for the young talent in the range of £33 million and could sanction his departure in the coming weeks.
There is currently no indication that Liverpool will respond with a counter proposal for now.
