Sporting Lisbon midfielder, Matheus Nunes, is still being monitored by Liverpool, according to Sky Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg.
The Portuguese international is reportedly a target for the Reds, but Plettenberg claims that teams like Wolves and Manchester City are more likely to submit a formal offer:
Plettenberg also notes that if a sell-on clause is incorporated in the deal, Sporting might be willing to sell Nunes for just €35 million (£29.6 million).

It is strange that Jurgen Klopp’s side are not quick to make a move for the 23-year-old at that price. The asking price was reportedly closer to €50m (£42.3m), including add-ons, when the Merseyside club was linked with the player in the Portuguese media.
Surprisingly, Plettenberg made no mention of Chelsea, who were also credited as potential suitors, indicating that Liverpool might have a better chance than expected to land Nunes.
