Just three days after their thrashing of Ajax in Amsterdam, Liverpool are back in action on home soil as they welcome Leeds United to Anfield.
Having booked their place in the Champions League knockout phase, the Reds’ attention turns to bouncing back from last weekend’s disappointing defeat to Nottingham Forest at the City Ground.

When does the match kick off?
The game will kick off at 7:45 pm on Saturday, October 29. The fixture had originally been scheduled for earlier in the day but because of Liverpool’s trip to Amsterdam taking place on Wednesday evening, the Premier League moved the fixture to the uncommon time.

The match will be shown on BT Sport 1, coverage will begin at 6:45 pm.

What is the early team news?
During his pre-match press conference at Kirkby on Friday afternoon, Jurgen Klopp confirmed Thiago Alcantara will available for selection after missing the Reds’ last two games due to an ear infection. The boss also revealed that a decision will be made on captain Jordan Henderson’s involvement closer to kick-off as the club continues to assess the knock to his knee he picked up at the Johan Cruyff ArenA.
