Much has already been said about Jurgen Klopp’s diligent signing this summer for Liverpool. In preparation for next season, the German has added some youth to his team by bringing in Fabio Carvalho (19), Calvin Ramsay (18), and Darwin Nunez (22) in a club-record £85 million deal.
The influx of youths will benefit the Anfield team in the long run, but Klopp wants to concentrate on the present in order to get the team back to winning Premier League and Champions League crowns.
Although names like Gavi, Aurélien Tchouaméni, and Marco Asensio have all been linked to the club, the pursuit of Jude Bellingham by Klopp has arguably gotten the fans excited.
Despite the interest, a move won’t happen until at least earliest next summer, so Klopp shouldn’t be worried because there is another talent he should be working to bring to Anfield in the meantime.
Luka Sucic, a Croatian midfielder, is considered by Liverpool to be an exceptional prospect according to GOAL, and the £18 million-rated talent might make the Anfield fans completely forget about Bellingham.
Football talent scout, Jacek Kulig has called him a “delight to watch,” and his performances for RB Salzburg were outstanding, with 11 goals and five assists from a central midfield position.

When Salzburg won the Austrian Bundesliga by a commanding 15 points last season, the 19-year-old earned a stellar SofaScore rating of 7.16 in the league. Over the course of the season, he was successful in 61 percent of his dribbles, made 1.3 key passes, and 2 shots per match.
These numbers demonstrate how productive he is in the middle of the field, and given his nationality and current position, he has a good chance of succeeding Luka Modric.
There is massive pressure put on young shoulders, but the performances have warranted the comparison. Sucic, who made his Croatian debut in October 2021 was one year younger than Modric, who made his debut at the age of 20, already has three caps.
His potential knows no bounds, and the Real Madrid star has opened the door for upcoming Croatian talent to make significant moves to the best teams on the continent. It would be bad if Klopp let this transfer pass.
