The Arsenal forward could be doubtful for tomorrow’s Europa League clash against PSV Eindhoven
The Brazilian star, Gabriel Martinelli has been a key player for the Gunners this campaign with four goals and two assists in all competitions.
He has played in every game for the club so far, but could be set to miss tomorrow’s European meeting versus PSV.
Martinelli sustained a kick to his calf during the recent 1-0 win at Leeds and he could now be rested for the midweek game.
The 21-year-old was nowhere to be seen in today’s training and Mikel Arteta could decide to give him a breather tomorrow.
Arsenal are in a strong position in their Europa League group with three wins out of three. They are top of the table.
The club can potentially cement their top spot on Thursday with another win, but won’t be easy against an in-form side.
Arteta is expected to ring in the changes for the game, but he should pick at least five starters from the recent Leeds trip.
