Hello and welcome to the live Arsenal blog for today.
On the final day of the Premier League, Arsenal defeated Everton 5-1, but it was not enough to secure Champions League football at the Emirates. Tottenham Hotspur’s victory over Norwich City made sure that Antonio Conte’s side will compete in Europe’s top competition next season, while Mikel Arteta will head his team in the Europa League on Thursday nights.
In the summer transfer season, Edu and his colleagues will do all necessary to bolster Arteta’s team. Marquinhos, a Brazilian youth, has already signed a contract, while other players such as Youri Tielemans and Gabriel Jesus are being targeted.
In addition, Arteta has stated that he wants William Saliba to return to Arsenal next season to push for a starting spot.
With that in mind, relax and allow Sports Deputy keep you updated on all the latest Arsenal news and transfer rumors throughout the day.
Bellerin update
Hector Bellerin has stated his desire to return to Real Betis next season.
He told Betis TV’s ‘Todo al Verde’ through sportzshala, “For the time being, I have to go back (to London).” “I have spoken with both clubs and explained my viewpoint to them.”
“We have two months to figure out how to get everyone off to the greatest possible start. I made an effort to come, and I am willing to go to any length to ensure that this remains my home because I am content.
“It’s also true that I had several extremely pleasant experiences in London, England. Arsenal has offered me a lot, including the chance to be a professional.”

Nelson admission
Reiss Nelson, an Arsenal winger, has said that since joining Feyenoord on loan last summer, Robin van Persie has offered him a lot of advise.
“Sometimes he comes here on a Wednesday, before Europa Conference League games on a Thursday,” Nelson told The Athletic. I inquire as to what positions I should be going for. Certain actions and finishes are required of me.
“He’s incredible.” He makes everything so much easier to comprehend. The ball will occasionally come inside, and you will go smash it. ‘Look, make sure you get (excellent) contact, make sure your body is in this position, and make sure you only want to hit it into the corner,’ he says.
“He claimed he just started practicing on all these different motions to be a little bit sharper than a lot of the defenders,”. He simply worked on it all day, every day, and it took some time for him to get the hang of it. It shaped him into the person he is now.”

Richarlison talks
According to GOAL, Arsenal has initiated preliminary conversations with Everton forward Richarlison’s representatives about a summer transfer.
The Brazilian is only one of several players linked with a move to the Emirates.

Arteta’s Saliba verdict
Arsenal is willing to sell William Saliba for €30 million (£25 million) in the summer transfer window, according to L’Equipe. Fans should rest easy, though, knowing that Arteta has stated that he wants the Frenchman back in the Arsenal squad.
“William Saliba has to return,” he told RMC. He has the required experience to compete with us. We sent him to Marseille to continue his development. As you know, William wanted to be a regular starter, but we now want him back at Arsenal.”
