Arsenal news and transfers LIVE: N'Golo Kante impact, Richarlison demands, Fabian Ruiz update

Hello and welcome to Wednesday’s live Arsenal blog on sportsdeputy.com!

Summer has arrived, which means the transfer window is rapidly approaching. Mikel Arteta will be seeking to strengthen his team ahead of the 2022-23 season, and there will be plenty of work to be done with European football returning to the Emirates Stadium.

From Richarlison to Fabian Ruiz, a number of high-profile players have been linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium. Will they, however, sign? What will they bring with them? We’ll have all of the necessary information.

With that in mind, relax and allow sportsdeputy.com keep you up to date on everything going on at the Emirates.

Jesus ‘very close’ to signing for Arsenal

Arsenal are close to signing Gabriel Jesus, according to Brazilian journalist Rodrigo Oliveira, who spoke to Calciomercato.it via Sport Witness:

“Many great clubs are interested in Gabriel Jesus, but Arsenal is the frontrunner,” he said. “The player has expressed his desire to quit Manchester City.” Jesus is close to signing with Arsenal; he is well-suited to English football and wants to stay in England, and Arsenal wants to make a decent offer, so Arsenal will most likely take on Gabriel Jesus, who has just lost space with Brazil.

“Many players have surpassed him in the national team hierarchy, which is why he wishes to remain in England.” Arsenal, on the other hand, is ready to make a big bid, potentially even for €50-60 million and are in pole position.
